Solar activity reached moderate (R1-minor) levels. The strongest event of the period was an M1.1/Sn at 01/2223 UTC from newly numbered Region 3359 (S20E61, Dri/beta). Prior to that flare, the largest was a C4.1 flare at 01/1256 UTC from a region of emerging flux near the NE limb. Region 3354 (N13W44, Fkc/beta-gamma-delta) remained the mostly complex on the visible disk and continued to develop, with areal growth observed among its leader spots. Slight growth was observed in Regions 3356 (S08E24, Cro/beta), 3357 (S07E32, Dro/beta), and 3358 (S12E57, Dai/beta).

The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.

Solar wind parameters were mildly enhanced. Solar wind speeds were elevated, but in decline, starting the period around 500 km/s and ending the period below 450 km/s. Total magnetic field strength steadily decreased from 7 nT to 5 nT through the day. No significant period of southward Bz were observed. Phi angle was predominantly oriented in the positive sector.

There is a 30% chance of solar activity, with a 5% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Sagittarius

Well, well, well, folks, brace yourselves as the moon is joyriding through Sagittarius, a whopping 366,314.352569781 kilometers away. It's like your long-distance relationship with that interstellar body and it's just as complicated! Now, I know what you're thinking: "What does this mean for me?" Let me put it in the language of us mere mortals. Imagine the moon as that free-spirited, wanderlust-filled friend who's always on an adventure, ticking off countries on their bucket list - that’s Sagittarius for you. When the moon is there, it's like a cosmic pep talk urging you to break free from your routine - even if that means swapping your usual breakfast cereal for something more exotic... like quinoa! But don't get too comfy in your new bohemian lifestyle just yet. The moon is always on the move, you see. In the next 24 hours, it's packing up its bag of cosmic tricks and heading to Capricorn. And if Sagittarius was your fun-loving, adventurous friend, Capricorn is the hard-nosed, no-nonsense work colleague who insists on scheduling meetings during your lunch hour. So, maybe keep that quinoa handy. You're gonna need the energy! Remember folks, space might be a cold, dark void, but that doesn't mean we can't have a bit of a laugh with it. After all, the universe has a sense of humor too - it made us, didn't it? So, whether you're feeling the wanderlust of the Sagittarius moon or bracing yourself for the Capricorn moon's demand for discipline, remember to laugh at the absurdity of it all. Because life's too short to take our place in the cosmos too seriously!

Mercury

Mercury is in Cancer

Mercury is prograde at 11 Can 26' 02", moving at 2.17 degrees per day, and is 198674259km away and approaching.

Mercury Is In Cancer

Oh, smeg! Sounds like Mercury is bunking up with Cancer, eh? Now, don't start panicking like a hologram in a magnet factory, this isn't as bad as it sounds. In fact, the little planet of chit-chat and Cancer, the celestial crustacean, make quite the cosy pair. You see, when Mercury sidles up to Cancer, we all become a bit more heart-on-our-sleeve about things. We start pondering the mysteries of the universe deep as Lister's dirty laundry pile. Suddenly, expressing our feelings becomes easier than convincing Kryten he's not a toaster! Cancer, the cosmic crab, is all about those warm, fuzzy feelings that make you feel safe and loved – like a hot vindaloo on a cold day in deep space. When Mercury sets up shop in this constellation, we're all more eager to show our softer side. It's like we've all been hit by an empathy virus, but instead of turning into birds, we're spreading love faster than a polymorph could mimic a curry! Now, I know what you're thinking: "What about my logical, scientific mind, Rimmer? Aren't I going to lose that?" Not at all, my star-gazing squaddies. Cancer, being a Water sign, has intuition sharper than one of Cat's suits. While Mercury is in Cancer, your logical thinking isn't erased, it's just expanded to include gut feelings and instincts. You'll be putting together insights faster than you can say "quantum physics"! Remember when I said we humans have a communication problem? That we listen only to reply and not to understand? Well, Mercury in Cancer has got that covered too. During this transit, we're all a bit more willing to shut up and listen. Even silence carries a message now, like the hum of Starbug's engines in the dead of night. So, in short, Mercury in Cancer is a gentle reminder that real listening is done with both the heart and the ears. Now, if only I could get Lister to understand that... Smeg!

Venus

Venus is in Leo

Venus is prograde at 21 Leo 33' 50", moving at 0.61 degrees per day, and is 73187856km away and approaching.

Venus Is In Leo

Ah, my dear celestial voyagers, prepare to buckle up your cosmic seatbelts because Venus has just strutted into the fiery realm of Leo! It's like a drama queen hosting a love parade in the heart of a supernova. And let me tell you, it's going to be a blast! This grand cosmic spectacle will make our hearts beat louder than a drum solo at a rock concert. Expect your love life to transform into an all-out Broadway musical, complete with jazz hands and high notes. Leo, being the cosmic show-off, will fan the flames of passion, setting off fireworks in our personal lives, and perhaps, a bit of jealousy. Remember, my friends, love is not a spectator sport, so don't just sit there, join the game! Now, with Venus in Leo, we're not just looking for a pat on the back or a thumbs-up emoji. Oh no, we're aiming for standing ovations, roses thrown at our feet, and maybe even a dedicated fan club. This is the time to take that leap of faith, make grand gestures of love, and maybe, just maybe, wear that glittery cape you've been saving for a special occasion. However, be careful not to let your ego lead you astray. After all, love is a duet, not a solo performance. And what about money, you ask? Well, when Venus is in Leo, every day is Black Friday! You'll find joy in showering loved ones with lavish gifts, splurging on that designer outfit, and maybe even buying a ticket to Mars. But remember, the real happiness lies not in treating ourselves but in the joy of giving. Venus in Leo is like a cosmic color run, splashing our lives with vibrant hues of passion, creativity, and a whole lot of fun. It's a reminder that life without a dash of excitement is like a pizza without cheese - bland and utterly disappointing. So, grab that slice of life, add an extra layer of cheesy love, and savor every bite!

Mars

Mars is in Leo

Mars is prograde at 25 Leo 01' 28", moving at 0.6 degrees per day, and is 331816587km away and receding.

Mars Is In Leo

Greetings, cosmic voyagers! Let's take a warp jump into the celestial realm where our good buddy Mars is hanging out in the constellation of Leo. This is like Spock at a Klingon poetry slam - intense, fiery, and just begging for an adventure! Let's not forget, Leo is the party animal of the zodiac, always up for a good time, much like Neelix on a Talaxian holiday. With Mars cutting a rug in Leo's dance floor, it's a call to all of us to let down our hair, ditch the Starfleet uniform for a day and live a little. Or a lot. But remember, Mars in Leo isn't all about indulgence. It's also about following your heart, or to put it in Borg terms, pursuing the collective that sets your soul alight. It's time to channel your inner Captain Janeway and boldly go where your passion drives you. Who knows, you might discover new life forms or civilizations in the process! However, before you start picturing yourself as the next captain of the Voyager, keep in mind overconfidence can quickly turn you into a Ferengi trying to negotiate with a Vulcan. You can't expect to earn respect and admiration without doing the hard work, folks. So, don’t just parade around in the captain's chair, actually lead the mission! During this cosmic journey, we'll be craving attention like a Tribble hungering for Quadrotriticale. But remember, not everyone is going to see you as the next star of the Alpha Quadrant. If you find your ego bruised like a klutzy Ensign, don’t go all Klingon on them. Instead, take this opportunity to reassess your ego’s role in your life. As Mars orbits through Leo, remember to balance the ego's beautiful and disastrous sides. It's like trying to maintain a stable warp field – a delicate but necessary process. So buckle up, space cadets! It's time to navigate this celestial event with grace, courage, and just a sprinkle of that Star Trek charisma. Live long and prosper!

Jupiter in Taurus: A Cosmic Bull Ride

Well, stargazers, it's time to don your space cowboy boots because Jupiter has sauntered its way into Taurus, and we're all in for a cosmic bull ride. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Aren't those celestial bodies millions of kilometers away?" Yes, you're spot on, my astute astrological aficionados! But remember, in the grand cosmic ballet, distance is but a mere construct.

Picture this: Jupiter, that big, jovial hunk of gas, reigning as king of wisdom and deep thoughts, sidling up to Taurus, our favorite stubborn yet charmingly sensual star sign. It's like a cosmic buddy movie that's part 'The Big Lebowski' and part 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty'. We're talking wisdom and ambition, lounging together on the cosmic couch, reminding us to get our heads out of the Netflix vortex and into something more... philosophical.

And let’s not forget, Jupiter isn’t just about wisdom, it’s also the planet of good luck and fortune. Think of it as your personal cosmic lottery ticket. Paired with Taurus, the zodiac's resident financial advisor, this could be your golden ticket to prosperity town. However, remember to keep the balance. Taurus might be whispering sweet nothings about luxury goods in your ear, but don’t let it turn into a spending spree. We all know that Taurus can indulge a bit too much. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither is a solid savings account.

So, what does this mean for you? In essence, the cosmic stage is set for you to chase your dreams, strategize your goals, and tap into your inner wisdom while potentially making some serious cosmic coin. But remember, patience is key. We’re dealing with Taurus here, folks, and we all know a bull won’t be rushed. So sit back, enjoy the ride, and trust the process. After all, in the game of celestial billiards, the 8-ball is always in your court!

Saturn

Saturn is retrograde at 07 Pis 02' 16", moving backwards at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 1375679376km away and approaching.

Saturn Is In Pisces

Saturn in Pisces - The Cosmic Odd Couple

Alright, space cadets, gather round for the latest cosmic download. Saturn's decided to camp out in Pisces and the universe is about to get a serious case of "Opposites Attract". Think of it as if Mr. Spock decided to crash at Ringo Starr's place for a bit. Yeah, that level of odd.

Saturn, our favourite celestial drill sergeant, is all about discipline, rules, and structure. Pisces, on the other hand, is that dreamy, free-spirit who's always got their head in the clouds. So, what happens when these two cross paths? Well, it's not a cake-walk, let me tell you!

Imagine Saturn, with a clipboard in hand, trying to make sense of Pisces' daydreams, while Pisces is just floating around, playing their cosmic ukulele. It's like trying to organize a cloud, folks. But don't be too quick to stick up those "Stay Out of My Room" signs. This planetary 'dad' might be barging in but he's got some solid advice. Hear him out, let him help you mold your dreams into reality.

Now, with all this conscious attention in Pisces' realm, you might find yourself feeling a bit restless, maybe even having trouble sleeping. It's like having a sleepover with a hyperactive kitten. What to do? Well, whip out that yoga mat, go for a moonlit walk, or try counting quantum particles to fall asleep. Meditation might help too.

And remember, fellow stargazers, while Saturn in Pisces might seem like a cosmic sitcom, it's actually a golden opportunity. Take this time to marry the practical with the fantastical, turn those dreams into plans, and let your imagination soar while keeping your feet firmly on the ground.

So gear up, buckle in, and embrace the ride! The stars are aligning and it's time to boldly go where no one has gone before. Well, until the next retrograde anyway.

Uranus

Uranus is in Taurus

Uranus is prograde at 21 Tau 45' 26", moving at 0.04 degrees per day, and is 3037212935km away and approaching.

Uranus Is In Taurus

Alright folks, buckle up and let's chat about Uranus in Taurus! It's like a Trekkie convention at a country fair; it's going to be a wild, unpredictable ride. First off, Taurus, my steadfast little bull, you're in for a cosmic rollercoaster. You know how you like your feet firmly on the ground? Well, Uranus doesn't care. It's the Spock of the solar system, always asking "is this logical?" and shaking things up with its disruptive energy. Your comfortable status quo is about to be as upended as a chessboard in the middle of a Klingon war cry. Now, onto the money matters (and no, we're not talking about Ferengi currency here). Uranus in Taurus is going to make some big waves in the financial sector. Think of it like a Starfleet credit system overhaul - you're going to be dealing with money in ways you never saw coming. Banks might as well be facing a Borg invasion; they're going to have to adapt or perish. And the housing and stock markets? They're about to go through more fluctuations than a faulty Warp Drive. On a personal level, it's like being stuck in a holodeck program where you're perpetually trying to pay off your debts. But fear not, Uranus is here to play the hero, liberating us from the tyranny of credit card interest rates and mortgages faster than you can say "Beam me up, Scotty!" What's important to remember, my star-struck friends, is that resistance is futile. Embrace the changes Uranus is bringing. If we navigate this like a seasoned Starfleet captain, we could end up in a much more stable and prosperous quadrant of our lives. So don your red shirt, brace yourself, and boldly go into this new era of Uranus in Taurus!

Neptune

Neptune is in Pisces

Neptune is retrograde at 27 Pis 41' 11", moving backwards at 0 degrees per day, and is 4438919704km away and approaching.

Neptune Is In Pisces

Alright, my celestial seekers! Buckle up and strap on your space goggles. Our cosmic brother from another mother, Neptune, is currently doing the backstroke in the swimming pool of Pisces. Now, I know what you're thinking: "Oh, great. Another retrograde. My life is over!" But hey, let's not get our gravity boots in a knot quite yet. Our good ol’ Neptunian pal is a whopping 4,438,984,596.566597939km away. That’s like, if you decided to take a leisurely stroll from your house to Neptune, it'd take you approximately 87,000 years. And that's without bathroom breaks! But what does this all mean, you ask? Well, Neptune in Pisces is like having your own personal Yoda, whispering, "Clear, see you will. Petty, differences are." It's a cosmic fog light that helps us see the bigger picture. With Neptune in Pisces, we realize that arguing about who left the milk out or who hogged the blanket last night is as pointless as trying to vacuum the surface of the moon. Neptune's dance in Pisces is also a gentle nudge (or cosmic kick in the rear) for us to look at what we can contribute towards healing and progress. We all have unique gifts - whether it's making the world's best lasagna, or being able to recite all the elements of the periodic table backwards while hula hooping. This is the time to use those gifts for the greater good. So why not take up that online course on chakra-balancing you've been eyeing, or start that podcast on vegan cooking? It's also the perfect time to create a little sacred space in your home - it could be as simple as a corner with a comfy pillow, a candle, and your favorite Neil deGrasse Tyson book. Remember, we're all stardust, so let's start acting like it. This transit is an invitation to explore our emotional intelligence and share it with the world. So go forth, my astro-nerds, and make this universe a better place one star at a time.

Pluto

Pluto is in Capricorn

Pluto is retrograde at 29 Cap 35' 16", moving backwards at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 5062428029km away and approaching.

Pluto Is In Capricorn

Ahoy, Space Cadets! Pluto Has Docked in Capricorn!

Alert the interstellar press! Pluto, that misunderstood, diminutive celestial body (no, it's not just a dwarf planet, thank you very much!) has taken up residence in the lofty realm of Capricorn. Yes, my stargazing friends, our tiny maverick is 5062444434.508918762km away but still having a cosmic impact right here on your daily life. And, let's not forget, the rambunctious little rebel is currently in retrograde. As if things weren't complicated enough!

Now, Pluto and Capricorn together are a bit like that super focused coworker who lives for spreadsheets and coffee - they're all about the ambition, power, and getting things done. This might mean that your empathetic side could take a bit of a vacation. You may find yourself less tolerant of other people's ideas because, let's face it, Pluto and Capricorn are not exactly the best listeners. They want results, not debates about who was the best Doctor Who.

But don't fret, my astrological aficionados! Pluto isn’t just here to turn us into ruthless power-hungry monsters. It's also bringing along its cosmic carry-on of transformation. It's time to say "Toodle-oo!" to those bad habits that have been holding you back. However, hold onto your space helmets, because this change might involve a bit of constructive destruction. Think of it like deleting those cringy photos from 2009 off your social media – it might hurt, but it's for the best.

So, as we navigate this cosmic course, remember: be deliberate in what you destroy along the path to creation. Just make sure it's not your limited edition Star Trek memorabilia or your collection of organic herbal teas. Priorities, people!

Venus

Venus Conjunct Mars

There is a desire for love, beauty, relationships, and things that feel good. Desire is strong today and this includes the desire for the opposite sex. Be considerate of others today as you may express yourself too strongly. Use your creative energies and get involved with the arts, music or the theater. How about making a special meal for your significant other? Watch your spending today as you may feel tempted to overindulge and be too extravagant. Curb your potential for eating too much rich, sweet, or spicy food. Moderation is the key. Be refined and charming around women. Do not get involved in petty gossip or in competition with the women you know. Have fun at a social gathering, but remember, don't come on too strong or let your opinion of yourself swell so as to become overbearing and obnoxious. For people with a Venus-Mars conjunction in their natal charts, the blending of the feminine and masculine energies within is a natural process, although other aspects to the conjunction will tell the whole story as to how this is done. These people possess personal magnetism in spades. They live and breathe romantic/sexual relationships. It is generally easy for them to form relationships, unless the conjunction is severely afflicted. They ooze sexuality, and they are generally quite impulsive with regards to entering new relationships. Relationships are not only important to them, they require a fair amount of excitement, adventure, and passion in their pairings in order to feel alive and vital. With this conjunction, there is generally a pleasing blend of self-assertion and cooperation. This comprises some of their charm, in that they generally know how to assert themselves without stepping on others’ toes. In some cases, men with this aspect may be too dominating in romantic situations, and might gain a reputation for being “macho”. This is not always the case, however. For the most part, these people are quite direct about what they want in a relationship, and they are quite passionate when it comes to going about getting what they want. It can be a challenge maintaining perspective when it comes to relationships. These people are generally highly creative and are bent on finding outlets for their creativity. Their vitality and warm energy is something that can be felt by others, as if it lies just below the surface. Some Famous People with Venus conjunct Mars: Barry Bonds (in Gemini), Carmen Electra (in Gemini), Bette Davis, James Caan (in Taurus, also conjunct Uranus), Sally Field, Eva Gabor (in Pisces), Merv Griffin (in Leo), Kris Kristofferson (in Gemini), Bruce Lee (in Scorpio), Courtney Love (in Gemini), Peter O’Toole, Al Pacino (in Gemini), Stefanie Powers (in Scorpio), Sting, Uma Thurman (in Gemini), Vincent Van Gogh (in Pisces), Harry Hamlin (in Virgo), Sandra Bullock (in Gemini, conjunct the Ascendant).

Venus

Venus Square Uranus

Unstable romantic infatuations and impractical or irresponsible attitudes and conduct in relationships should be guarded against. There is a desire to break free from binding partnerships. Impulsive spending may be your idea of breaking free. Be careful during this transit because you are probably not thinking with your head, only your heart, which is your wild side right now. Your behavior now may be so bohemian or bizarre that people turn against you. Settle down and apply self-discipline.The need for stimulation and the need to break the rules with regards to love and romance is apparent when Venus squares or opposes Uranus in the natal chart. These people can confuse their partners readily with their on-again off-again energy when it comes to matters of the heart. With the opposition, this is especially pronounced–when they are given too much space, they feel unloved, yet when they get the love they seem to crave, they can feel smothered by it. They can alienate partners by adopting an “I don’t care what you do” stance when they feel threatened. The truth is, they do fear rejection like anyone else, but they don’t always want to admit it, and they can turn quite cold when they suspect their partner doesn’t care. The energy of Venus-Uranus in hard aspect is embodied in the expression, “Absence makes the heart grow fonder”. When close to a loved one, they can eventually feel smothered or antsy if the relationship becomes too predictable. They can also detach themselves from living in the moment and enjoying the love they have. When apart, they feel more free to love. This aspect is common in the charts of people who maintain long-distance or otherwise erratic relationships. There can be abrupt beginnings and endings in relationships. They are not very “good” at endings–they can appear quite insensitive, aloof, and brusque. The “let’s be friends” attitude might hurt a partner who felt there was much more to the relationship. These people have a disdain for conventional, traditional, or otherwise “normal” relationships. They need to learn to balance their need for closeness and their need for freedom. Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
