Solar wind parameters indicated the influence of a negative polarity CH HSS. Total field was enhanced, reaching peaks of 13 nT, but averaging mostly between 8-12 nT. The Bz component of the IMF was predominantly southward, undergoing several deflections of -8 to -10 nT. Solar wind speeds gradually increased during the period from an ambient like state to peaks near 450 km/s. Phi was predominantly negative while undertaking relatively brief excursions into a positive orientation. There is a 40% chance of solar activity, with a 15% chance of a minor event, a 5% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.
