Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, were reflective of slow moving CME influence. Total field strength increased from 6 nT to an average of 10 nT with a peak of 13 nT. The Bz component was predominantly southward reaching up to -11 nT occasionally. However, solar wind speeds remained at ambient-like levels, ranging from ~350 km/s to 315 km/s. Phi rotated between positive and negative solar sectors. There is a 30% chance of solar activity, with a 35% chance of a minor event, a 15% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.
