Solar wind parameters were indicative of positive polarity CH HSS influences. The source for this activity was most likely a small, isolated, positive polarity CH HSS that is no longer visible in GOES SUVI 195A imagery. Total IMF strength was predominantly stronger than 5 nT and had peaks of 10 nT. The Bz component varied throughout the period, with some prolonged periods dominated by southward orientation. Solar wind speed increased and averaged about 550 km/s, with some peaks ~590 km/s. The phi angle was negative early, but deflected into a positive sector at 23/0545 UTC. There is a 50% chance of solar activity, with a 20% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.
