Mars In Cancer

The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.

It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.

You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.

The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

Cancer, oh Cancer, my dear crustacean-in-the-sky! You're being visited by the celestial mailman, Mercury, who unfortunately doesn't have Amazon Prime. Expect some delays in your life right now, but remember, it's not about the destination, it's about the journey...and the snacks you bring along. Your emotions might be as full as the moon right now, which, by the way, is currently 14.6 days old. So, it's having a bit of mid-moon-life crisis, much like you. Don't fret though, it's just a phase (pun intended)! Use this time to reflect on your life, your dreams, and why you can't stop binge-watching that new Netflix series. You may find yourself more sensitive than usual during this period - we're talking 'tearing up at a cute puppy video' level of sensitivity. But hey, there's no shame in being a soft shell crab. You're just feeling the vibes, man! Your sentimental side may also be on overdrive. Don't be surprised if you find yourself reminiscing about your dial-up internet days or mourning the loss of Pluto as a planet (yeah, I'm still not over it). In the love department, remember to communicate clearly with your partner or potential suitors. Mercury being in Cancer might cause a few miscommunications. But before you start a fight, double-check if autocorrect is the real culprit. In summary, buckle up, Cancer! It's going to be an emotional rollercoaster ride, but remember, you've got the best seat in the house. So, sit back, hold tight, and enjoy the journey! #CrabbyButCute #MercuryMailman #MidMoonLifeCrisis #SensitiveShellfish #RememberPluto
