Mars In Cancer

The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.

It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.

You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.

The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

Alrighty, space cowboys and cowgirls of the Cancer clan, gather around. We've got a moon out there that's 22 days old, or as I like to call it, "just barely legal to drive a spaceship". #LunarLearnersPermit This Third Quarter moon is giving off some serious "I'm not a kid anymore, universe!" vibes. It's time for you to pick up on that energy, Cancer crew. You've been trudging through the muck of life, but this moon is about to give you a shiny new pair of galactic gumboots. You might be feeling a bit like a leaf on the wind, but remember - even leaves find their way to solid ground eventually. So, get ready to land, folks! This moon cycle is your descent into some serious stability. Brace for landing, but don't forget to enjoy the view on the way down. #GroundControlToMajorCrab The stars are also whispering about opportunity. They're not shouting, mind you - stars are notoriously terrible at public speaking. But if you listen closely, you'll hear them. It's like trying to decipher the faint sound of a banjo, being played by a particularly shy gorilla. #StarStruck In other words, Cancer folks, keep your eyes peeled and your ears to the cosmos. Opportunities will be subtle, almost as subtle as my stellar humor. Be ready to grab them by the horns... or claws. Whatever suits your style. Finally, remember that even in the blackest night sky, you're never alone. You've got a whole galaxy of stars out there, and they're all cheering for you. Well, they would be if they had lungs... and pom-poms. #GalacticCheerSquad So saddle up, Cancer crew. This old moon's got some new tricks, and we're all in for a wild ride. #SpaceRodeo And remember, no matter what happens, keep flying. Even when the going gets tough, the tough get going... usually towards the nearest pub. #AstrologicalAles Stay shiny, Cancer folks. Until next moon cycle!

#Cancer
