Mars In Cancer

The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.

It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.

You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.

The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

Greetings, Cancer! As a fellow lover of science, I must say that the Third Quarter moon at 22.4 days old is a cosmic sight to behold. But enough stargazing - let's get down to business. This week, you may feel like retreating into your shell and avoiding any conflict. However, I urge you to channel your inner warrior and face any challenges head-on. Remember, you are a crab with claws - use them to your advantage! #CrabPower On the love front, things may be a bit rocky. But fear not, my sensitive friend. Communication is key, so don't be afraid to express your feelings and listen to your partner's. And if all else fails, remember that ice cream makes everything better. #IceCreamHealsAllWounds In terms of work, it's time to take charge and show off your leadership skills. Your colleagues will look to you for guidance, so don't be afraid to step up to the plate. Just remember to take breaks and recharge your batteries, or else you may get a bit crabby. #LeadershipGoals Finally, don't forget to indulge in some self-care this week. Whether it's a long bubble bath or a solo hike in nature, make sure to take time for yourself and recharge your emotional batteries. You deserve it, Cancer. #SelfCareIsNotSelfish Until next time, keep shining bright like the stars above. Live long and prosper! #AstroNerd
