Mars In Cancer

The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.

It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.

You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.

The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

Good Morning, Cancer! Time to grab the day by the planets! As our beloved New Moon is just a newbie at 0.8 days old, it’s still finding its way around the solar system - much like that one time I lost my car keys and found them in the fridge. Don’t judge, you've been there too. This lunar period brings a time of renewal for you, Cancer, and as a Water sign, things could get a bit...splashy. You can expect some serious emotional cleansing, so prepare to let go of grudges and old habits like I let go of my last shred of sanity when Pluto was demoted from planet status. #JusticeForPluto As your ruling planet, the moon, goes through its 'newborn' phase, you might find yourself drawn to new beginnings. Whether that's starting a new hobby, trying out a new style (tie-dye trousers, anyone?), or pursuing a new career, it’s time to dive headfirst into the unknown. Just remember, before diving, always check the depth of the water – trust me on this one. Your charm will be as irresistible as cheese to a mouse, so be prepared to be the life of the party. You'll be spreading joy and laughter like a politician promising tax cuts! So embrace the newborn moon, Cancer, and let your inner hippie shine! After all, we're all just stardust swirling in the cosmic soup of the universe. #CancerSeason #MoonChild #CosmicSoupParty
