Mars In Cancer

The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.

It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.

You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.

The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

Hey there, Cancer! You know, if the universe were a comic book, I'd be saying "Bazinga!" right about now. But it isn't, so I'll just say, the 5-day-old Waxing Crescent moon looks like a cosmic toenail clipping from the foot of Zeus. Now, let's talk about your horoscope. As a Cancer, you're known for your tenacity, loyalty, and oh yeah, those mood swings that can make even a seesaw dizzy. This week, your emotions might be doing their best roller coaster impression, but remember, even the most epic roller coaster has to stop for a hot dog break. Or is it just me who does that? Try focusing on the positives and let the negatives float off like...well, like a cloud of interstellar gas expelled by a dying star. Too scientific? Okay, think of it like letting go of a balloon at a park. Less science-y, more whimsy! Your ruling planet, the Moon in its Waxing Crescent phase, is like a shy teenager just beginning to show its face at the party of the night sky. It's encouraging you to step out of your comfort zone, too, my crabby friend. Embrace that change, even if it feels as weird as a vegan at a barbecue. Remember, like the stars in the night sky, you're made up of stardust. So, you're literally a star! Now, dust off that cosmic sparkle and shine brighter than a supernova. Or at least as bright as a freshly waxed moon. #CrabLife #WaxingCrescentVibes #StardustSwagger
