The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.
It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.
You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.
The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

Hey there, cosmic crabsters! It's time to come out of your shell because the universe is sending some serious vibes your way!
The First Quarter Moon is 5.9 days old, which in astro-speak means it's time to act on all those grand ideas you've been brewing in your noggin. Think of it like this - the moon is your very own personal Death Star, and it’s just about fully operational. #StarWarsMeetsAstrology
Considering you're a Cancer, we know you love your cozy hobbit hole more than Frodo loves the Shire. But remember, even Bilbo Baggins had to leave his comfy nook to go on an adventure. This week, the universe is encouraging you to do the same. Step outside your comfort zone. Explore new realms of possibilities. Maybe skip the dragon hoards though, unless it's metaphorical dragons - then face them head-on. #HobbitLifeLessons
Being ruled by the Moon, your emotions might feel as bouncy as Flubber. One minute you're up, next minute you're splat against the ceiling. Embrace the lunar madness, my celestial crustaceans. Just remember, when you’re feeling down, there’s nowhere to go but up…literally! Because, you know, gravity. #FlubberFeels
Remember, being a Cancer means you're as tough as they come. You've got that hard shell, but also a soft heart. Use that balance to navigate through this exciting time. Be like Spock: logical yet empathetic. #LiveLongAndCrabster
So, gear up, dear Cancerians! Embrace the lunar energy, face your dragons, and remember, in the wise words of Yoda, "Do or do not, there is no try." #YodaWisdom
Until next time, stay starry-eyed my friends!
#Cancer
