The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.
It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.
You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.
The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

Greetings, my cosmic crustaceans! As Mars joins the party in your celestial crab shack, you'll be feeling the heat like an intergalactic crab boil! 🦀🔥
With the Waxing Gibbous moon already 9.3 days old, it's time to get your claws out and start grabbing those opportunities like they're tasty morsels of space shrimp. The stars are aligning to make this an optimum time for cosmic cuddles and embracing your nurturing nature. 🌔💙
But beware, dear Cancerians, for as you scuttle sideways through the universe, you may find yourself at risk of being caught in a black hole of emotion. Remember, every cosmic crab needs their shell intact to shield them from the harsh vacuum of space (and life). Keep your shell shiny and strong! 🚀💫
As Mars invades your constellation, it's time to unleash your inner nerd! Embrace your love for all things tech and sci-fi, and maybe even engage in some friendly debates about who's the best captain in Star Trek history (we know it's Picard, right?). 🤓🖖
So, Cancerians, as you navigate the cosmos this week, remember to channel your inner hippie, draw energy from Mother Earth, and just keep swimming, err... scuttling. The universe has got your back. 🌍✌️
